If you are like me, holiday parties begin this weekend. From Friendsgivings to cocktail parties stepping up the makeup game is a must. That doesn't mean (m)any of us are suddenly capable of pulling off Adele-level eyeliner. I decided to ask the ladies over at Blush Beauty Bar for holiday makeup recommendations.
Read on for the 5 Must-Have products and to see my holiday look!
I sat down with Karly - who DOES pull off Adele-level makeup - and she shared her favorite beauty products for the season.
Easy to use colors that match just about every skin tone. The matte and neutral colors provided a day-appropriate base while the metallic shades make it holiday worthy.
Nars Contour Blush (Available in stores)
Because contouring and color will counter tired faces and long hours.
Festive shades (red, red, red) that compliment just about everyone, and stays for hours.
Eyeliner game strong! 'Nuf said!
I've talked about my love for setting sprays before - with busy schedules and long days this will keep you fresh and polished well into the night.
If you are too busy or overwhelmed to pull off your makeup Blush Beauty Bar also offers makeup application services to help get you ready for an extra important party - or give you all of the tools to make it through party season.
As I mentioned, I worked with makeup artist Karly. I had so much fun hanging out with her! We instantly clicked, started making "Hello" references and were in a fit over Whine About It.
She created a tasteful look that is attainable. Gold eye shadow, a strong liner, natural contouring and a red lip. Oh! And the false lashes! False lashes make such a tremendous difference, especially when there will be a lot of photos.
Wow you look more fantastic than usual, love the eyes and lips. I have to applaud that you went for the makeupless before look while I won't answer the door with my own freshly scrubbed but nothing else face.
