If you have been reading Martha Chartreuse for awhile, you know that Erin, of Bakery Bingo, and I are good friends. Whether we are taking long walks, shopping, or co-working at a coffee shop we never run out of things to talk about. One of our regular GChat, Text, and coffee conversations centers around all of the wonderful food experiences we have in Portland.
Through these conversations, the idea for #ThursdayToursPDX was born! We are both always so curious and interested to hear where others go, we decided it was high-time to start a series! We will be connecting with bloggers and taste makers in Portland and find out their favorite spots. For each topic, we will be featuring a different person on our respective blogs!
Little Bird Bistro- HH twice daily (late night and late afternoon), $5 most epic burger ever and $5 most epic macaroni gratin ever and all the cocktails are $3 off and its cute classy and french. Sit at the bar and converse with one of the friendly bartenders.
Imperial- Awesome Burger and Kale salad with sunflower seed brittle. Also fantastic cocktails on tap! You should also try Top Chef Runner Up Dougie Adam's awesome fried chicken or Texas Hot Chili on the dinner menu.
Ringside Fish House- All day HH on Sundays and twice daily otherwise. The steak bites are a steal at $3.95 and the $2.95 cheeseburger might look drab but its pretty damn good.
Interurban- AMAZING honey glazed chili chicken wings on the HH menu along with other great eats! The $5 cocktails are strong yet delicious; try Death in the Afternoon or Whiskey and Ginger. Also check out the jello shots.
Nostrana- Its only from 9-10PM but OMG best pizza ever and you also get the epic Nostrana salad on sale. Get a $5 glass of wine and split a pizza, salad, and pasta dish with a friend and pay less than $20 apiece.
#ThursdayToursPDX is a collaborative series between Portland, OR bloggers {Erin} Bakery Bingo + {Meredith} Martha Chartreuse. In a city filled with amazing restaurants, artisan experiences, and fantastic taste makers the inside scoop is a must. We will be asking our friends and fellow bloggers for their recommendations and tips for all the City of Roses has to offer.

To kick-off #ThursdayToursPDX we have asked Karen and Sara to share their favorite Happy Hours in Portland!
Before I met Sara, I was a longtime fan of her uber-comprehensive and on-point Instagram account! From fashion posts to launch parties at some of Portland's premiere eateries - Sara is there and documenting it! Her detailed descriptions and honest recommendations have never led me astray. In addition to being forever-fabulous, Sara is also a busy professional. Conscious of her time and budget, she knows where to find the best and most satisfying deals in time.
For to learn more about Karen and her recommendations head over to Bakery Bingo!
